The ACR is accepting applications for mini curriculums, which are educational activities or curriculums to enhance the ACR Core Curriculum Outline.
The ACR intends to call for interested lupus experts to participate in an ACR lupus guideline project in late 2018. The majority (at least 51%) of the confirmed guideline development team will need to have had no conflicts of interest, i.e., relationships with companies that have a commercial interest in lupus. Relationships with these companies that would constitute COI would include serving as a principal investigator (PI) or site PI of industry-supported research studies (even for non-lupus related products, if the company also has an interest in lupus), for at least the previous 12 months and continuing throughout the duration of the project. The proposed PI and literature review leader for the ACR lupus guideline project must be unconflicted. Interested experts and/or possible teams are encouraged to consider their COI status now in order to be prepared to apply for this opportunity in late 2018. The ACR encourages proposed investigators with any commercial interests to inquire as to whether these constitute a conflict (contact email@example.com).
Final publication anticipated in early 2020.
