Applications Invited: ACR Open Rheumatology Editor, 2024–2028 Term
The American College of Rheumatology Committee on Journal Publications announces the search for the position of Editor, ACR Open Rheumatology (ACROR). ACROR is the official open access journal of the American College of Rheumatology. The journal publishes high-quality articles reporting on original investigations in all aspects of rheumatology-related research (basic science, translational science, clinical science, epidemiology, health outcomes, health policy, and education) as well as reviews, images and commentaries. All articles published by ACROR are fully open access: immediately freely available to read, download and share.
The official term of the next ACROR editorship is January 1, 2024–December 31, 2028; however, some of the duties of the new Editor will begin during a transition period starting September 1, 2023. ACR/ARP members who are considering applying for position should submit a nonbinding letter of intent by May 15, 2023 to the Kimberly Murphy (kmurphy@rheumatology.org).

ACR Open Rheumatology (ACROR), an official journal of the ACR, is a peer-reviewed open access publication (now indexed and fully searchable in PubMed) for clinicians, scientists, researchers, and practitioners in the field of rheumatology and related disciplines. ACROR publishes high-quality articles reporting on original investigations in all aspects of rheumatology-related research (basic science, clinical science, epidemiology, health outcomes, health policy, and education) as well as reviews and commentaries.

As an open access publication, ACROR does not charge subscription fees, and ACR membership is not a requirement to view any of the content.

In addition, all articles are published EarlyView shortly after acceptance, prior to appearing in a monthly issue.
