Growth plate

Disc of cartilage between the metaphysis and the epiphysis of an immature long bone permitting growth in length.

Hallux valgus

Deviation of the distal portion of the great toe, at the metatarsophalangeal joint, toward the outer or lateral side of the foot.

Health Assessment Questionnaire (HAQ)
