Registration Guidelines

  • Full payment is due at the time of registration.
  • Online registrations receive immediate email confirmation.
  • Faxed and mailed registrations will be sent a confirmation within five days of receipt.
  • If you do not receive a confirmation call 800-636-4766 (US & Canada) or 415-979-2265 (International)
  • If you are registering on someone’s behalf, you are required to enter the contact information for the individual attendee. Without this information, the registration will not be processed.

Cancellations and Requests for Refund

  • Cancellations and refund requests must be received in writing by May 5. Submit cancellation requests via the ACR PRSYM Registration Support Center or by fax at 415-293-5231.
  • No refunds will be provided for cancellations received after the cancellation deadline of May 5.
  • An administration fee of $50 will be deducted for members; $100 will be deducted for non-members. No fees will be refunded after May 5.
  • No-shows will not receive a refund.
  • ACR is not responsible for airfare, hotel, or other costs incurred by participants in the event of a program or registration cancellation.
  • All refund requests will be processed after the meeting. No refunds will be issued on site.
  • Cancelled registrations are nontransferable.

  • Discuss the most up-to-date clinical information on the diagnosis and management of pediatric patients with rheumatic and immunologic disorders.
  • Describe the most current information regarding the pathophysiology underlying pediatric rheumatic disorders.

Call for Abstracts
The American College of Rheumatology (ACR), Association of Rheumatology Health Professionals (ARHP), and the Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance (CARRA) invite you to submit an abstract and take advantage of the opportunity to have your work peer reviewed by experts in the field.

Every three years, PRSYM draws hundreds of abstracts submitted by rheumatologists and health professionals from around the world. New this year, CARRA and PRSYM are joining efforts in our call for abstracts and will be utilizing one abstract submission website. If accepted, your abstract will be published in an online supplement of Arthritis & Rheumatology.

Abstract Submission Processing Fee
A $50 processing fee must accompany each abstract. The ACR accepts electronic payment only in the form of MasterCard, Visa, or American Express. Abstract processing fees must be in U.S. funds and are non-refundable - no exceptions.

Abstract Submission
All 2017 PRSYM and CARRA abstracts will be submitted via the submission website.

Abstract Submission Deadline
The 2017 abstract submission deadline is February 1 at noon ET - no exceptions. Please remember, you will not be able to make any changes to your submission after the deadline. However, you will be able to access the submission portal to view your completed abstract submission and print a copy of your submission fee receipt.

Press Registration & Policies

The American College of Rheumatology welcomes members of the press to write about research presented at our professional meetings throughout the year. Complimentary registration is provided to approved members of the press to allow them to attend sessions on-site. All members of the press interested in attending PRSYM must register by (date to be announced). On site registration will NOT be available. Registration details are coming soon.
