The ACR is accepting applications for mini curriculums, which are educational activities or curriculums to enhance the ACR Core Curriculum Outline.
Creating Adult Rheumatology Mentorship in Academia (CARMA) is a mentoring program to support career development and enhance decision-making and satisfaction for rheumatology trainees and junior faculty as they transition to independence after fellowship. Established ACR members will serve as mentors by providing remote career development guidance for early rheumatology investigators.
Mentees: Adult rheumatology fellows and junior faculty. ACR membership is required.
Mentors: Adult rheumatologists. ACR membership is required.
We anticipate a 5 -10 hour per year time commitment, consisting of phone calls and a face-to face meeting at the ACR/ARP Annual Meeting or Rheumatology Research Workshop.
