The ACR is accepting applications for mini curriculums, which are educational activities or curriculums to enhance the ACR Core Curriculum Outline.
Creating Adult Rheumatology Mentorship in Academia (CARMA) is a mentoring program to support early career investigators to enhance decision-making and satisfaction for rheumatology research trainees and junior faculty as they transition to independence after fellowship. Through a detailed matching process, ACR will match established ACR members with early rheumatology investigators.
Mentees: Adult rheumatology research-focused fellows and junior faculty. ACR membership is required.
Mentors: Adult rheumatologists. ACR membership is required.
We anticipate a 5-10 hour per year time commitment, consisting of phone calls and a face-to-face meeting at the ACR's annual meeting or Rheumatology Research Workshop. During this unprecedented time of COVID-19, alternative methods for connection and communication, such as video conferencing, will be used.
