MOC at Annual Meeting

There are several opportunities for 2018 ACR/ARHP Annual Meeting attendees to earn MOC points. Up to 6 MOC points are available to attendees who attend the Review Course (separate paid registration required) and up to 12 MOC points are available to attendees who attend the 2018 CARE: MOC Sessions and complete the supplementary online activities (worth 4 MOC points per activity; no additional paid registration required).

2018 ACR Review Course

This session will provide a practical review of several issues encountered by rheumatologists along with a state-of-the-art approach to their diagnosis, management, and treatment. In order to earn MOC points, attendees must complete an online activity component and evaluation.  Separate paid registration is required – see information about pre meeting and ticketed sessions

Instructions to Access 2018 ACR Review Course

  1. Login, go to My Account, and select My Educational Activities on the left navigation menu.
  2. Find 2018 ACR/ARHP Annual Meeting in the list of activities and click View Activity.
  3. If you are registered for the Review Course, you should see 2S002 Pre-Mtg: ACR Review Course on My List at the top of the page.
  4. Click the Access button to the right of the ACR Review Course line item.
  5. Follow the prompts and answer the questions to complete the online activity and evaluation.
  6. Upon completion, select Exit - you will be directed to your ACR account and see a Claim button to the right of the ACR Review Course line item. *To claim MOC, select the Claim MOC checkbox when claiming CME credit for the Review Course.

*If you do not have your ABIM number saved in your ACR account, you will receive an error message when attempting to claim MOC. To add your ABIM number, select Edit My Account on the left navigation menu.

For ABIM certified physicians, points will be sent automatically to ABIM and reflected on your profile within 48 hours.

2018 CARE: MOC Sessions

There are three unique CARE sessions that combine interactive, live sessions with complementary online components. Access to the online activities are exclusive to Annual Meeting attendees.

Instructions to Register and Access 2018 CARE: MOC Sessions

  1. Register for the activities. (If you are not logged in, you will be prompted to login. In order to claim MOC points, you will need to enter or verify your six-digit ABIM ID number and birthdate. If you do not know your ABIM ID number, visit www.abim.org.)

    2018 CARE: MOC Session 3 – OA and Gout/Pseudogout
  2. Go to My Account and select My Educational Activities on the left navigation menu.
  3. Find each 2018 CARE: MOC Session in the list of activities and click View Activity.
  4. Click the Access button to the right of the CARE: MOC Session line item.
  5. Follow the prompts and answer the questions to complete the online activity and evaluation.
  6. Upon completion, select Exit - you will be directed to your ACR account. *To claim MOC, select the Claim MOC checkbox when claiming CME credit for each online CARE activity.
