The ACR has a robust federal advocacy program which engages Congress on issues affecting our members and patients. To advance our policy agenda, ACR is supported by a grassroots network of physicians and health professionals and its political action committee, RheumPAC. In addition to a daily lobbying practice, the ACR brings in members from around the country semi-annually to meet with their lawmakers in Congress and discuss issues important to their practice, research, and patients.
