ACR/EULAR International Academic Exchange Program

The American College of Rheumatology (ACR) and the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) are pleased to sponsor the International Academic Exchange Program. This program recognizes outstanding junior faculty in rheumatology research, both basic and clinical, and exposes them to the exciting work that is being done by colleagues overseas. This exchange program allows participants to share knowledge and experience, creating an opportunity for collaboration in the future. In addition, the program fosters the alliance between ACR and EULAR and assists in identifying future leaders within both organizations.

In June 2009, the ACR Senior Faculty Host will accompany three ACR Junior Faculty Delegates to the EULAR Congress meeting in Copenhagen, Denmark. This would include attendance at the EULAR Congress, as well as participation in post-EULAR Congress visits with various European academic institutions.

Interested applicants must complete the application form by April 9, 2009 for consideration.
