The current charge of the Development Advisory Council includes reviewing, modifying and implementing the individual giving program adopted by the REF; and promoting the individual giving program.

REF Scientific Advisory Council
The current charge of the Scientific Advisory Council includes serving as an advisory resource to the REF Board on issues regarding the scope and benefit of established and future award programs; and developing and implementing policies and methods for reviewing and making recommendations to the REF Board of Directors on grants, scholarships and awards.

Within Our Reach Leadership Council
Within Our Reach: Finding a Cure for Rheumatoid Arthritis  is a new, bold and challenging initiative which requires active and strong leadership to help advance the program and structure to new levels.  The Within Our Reach Leadership Council is a core group of key volunteers nationwide, consisting primarily of practicing rheumatologists and some members from the lay community, who are helping form a network of enthusiasm and support in connecting with a distinct group of individuals in the lay community to share the campaign case and help realize the vision of finding a cure for RA.
