Over the last decade, REF has invested more than $50 million directly into its two mission priorities: rheumatology training and development and targeted rheumatic disease research. We seek to continue leading the way towards addressing the growing demand for patient care today while advancing the course of research that will yield tomorrow’s cures. Journey to Cure is a $60 million multi-year campaign to accelerate REF’s mission priorities by directly investing in advancing patient care and accelerating discoveries.
This extraordinary vision requires unprecedented action from the patient, pharmaceutical and rheumatology communities. Journey to Cure will fund an extensive peer-reviewed grants program, which spans the rheumatology career, to ensure a pipeline of qualified rheumatology care providers and inspire the targeted research that can lead to discoveries and possible cures.
