Within Our Reach: Finding a Cure for Rheumatoid Arthritis is a multi-year, $30 million campaign seeking to advance the future of rheumatologic research by accelerating RA research not normally funded by NIH or other peer-reviewed funding sources.

Accelerating RA research will enhance practicing rheumatologists’ ability to characterize various causes of the disease, predict onset of the disease, individualize treatment based on patient’s characteristics and prevent joint damage and improve joint function.

Launched by the REF in March 2006, Within Our Reach has the capacity to improve RA patients’ quality of life, alleviate long-term effects of RA and, ultimately, ensure that future generations can enjoy life without RA.

This campaign seeks to secure extraordinary gifts and pledges which will fund a unique and innovative awards program specifically focused on RA research.
