Your gift to the REF Annual Giving Campaign supports an extensive awards program that provides research, education and training opportunities for individuals and institutional grant recipients. By supporting these opportunities for the best and brightest in the rheumatology community, you also support important advances in the treatment of rheumatic disease.
Ways to make a contribution to the Annual Giving Campaign include:
- Direct Gifts - A simple way to contribute is with an outright gift of cash. Download our form

- Honorary and Memorial Gifts - Any annual gift made to the REF can also be designated in honor or memory of an individual. You can

- Matching Gifts - Many companies provide matching gifts for their employees. Please contact your HR personnel to find out about your company's policies and to get the process started.
- Gifts of Appreciated Stock - You may gift stock and other securities to the REF with significant tax advantages. Contact the REF Development Department at for more information.
Donor Recognition
Every gift to the REF is appreciated. We recognized our donors in many ways, including:
- The Circle of Leadership - donors who have contributed at least $1,000 to the REF during the fiscal year (July 1 through June 30). Leadership gifts at this level provide the financial strength that creates a margin of excellence.
- The REF Club - donors who contribute between $150 and $999 during the fiscal year (July 1 through June 30). Gifts at this level create a solid foundation of support for the REF.
- Annual Meeting Donor Packages - Certain donors are also eligible for exclusive donor benefits at the ACR/ARHP Annual Scientific Meeting.
