Programs for Students

The REF has opportunities for medical and graduate students interested in the field of rheumatology.

• Health Professional Graduate Student Research Preceptorship - introduces students to rheumatology-related health care by supporting full-time research by a graduate student in the area of rheumatic diseases.
• Medical Student Clinical Preceptorship - introduces students to the specialty of rheumatology by supporting a full-time clinical experience.
• Medical Student Research Preceptorship - introduces students to the specialty of rheumatology by supporting a full-time research experience.
• Medical and Graduate Student Achievement Award - recognizes medical and graduate students for significant work in the field of rheumatology, and is based on scores for abstracts submitted to the ACR/ARHP Annual Scientific Meeting.
