Cover image: The figure on the cover (from Armour et al, page 2794) illustrates immunofluorescence staining of apoptotic osteoblasts in a section of tibia from a mouse treated with talc. In animals, administration of talc causes inflammation-induced osteoporosis, providing a model to investigate the bone loss associated with many forms of arthritis. In the current study, this model was used to determine the role of inducible nitric oxide synthase.
