Cover image: The figure on the cover (from Jovanovic et al, page 2327) illustrates immunostaining for interleukin-1 in the synovial membrane of a dog with osteoarthritis treated with a novel antiinflammatory agent. This agent affects both cyclooxygenase and 5-lipoxygenase and reduces the development of osteoarthritis in a dog model, with interleukin-1 expression being one measure of its activity.
