ANNOUNCEMENTS 18A

Cover image: These are award-winning images from the 2001 American College of Rheumatology slide contest. This composite slide demonstrates the vasculitic rash of Henoch-Schonlein purpura in a 32-year-old man. The rash is typically an erythematous palpable purpuric eruption on the lower extremities. The skin biopsy shows intense immunofluorescent IgA deposition in cutaneous vessel walls.
