Grant Funding To Attend OMERACT 10 Meeting
The ACR is pleased to announce grant funding for ACR or ARHP members, including trainee members, within 5 years of the beginning of their fellowships in ACGME-accredited U.S. rheumatology programs to attend the OMERACT 10 meeting from May 4-8, 2010 in Borneo, Malaysia. Space is limited; interested members should complete the application no later than December 1, 2009 by 5pm Eastern Standard Time (EST). Application and supporting documentation are attached below. Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be an ACR or ARHP member, including trainee members, within 5 years of the beginning of their fellowships in ACGME-accredited U.S. rheumatology programs.
- Demonstrate a serious commitment to research.
Application and Documentation
- Complete the survey application.
- Applicants must submit an abstract with their application; those without abstracts will not be considered. Work described in the abstract should be related to outcome measures.
- Abstracts submitted should follow ACR guidelines.
ACR abstract guidelines: the abstract limit is 2,750 characters, including the title and authors, not including spacing or disclosures. In addition, if you import tables and graphics, your character count will be decreased by 250 characters from the total limit allowed. Your abstract will be considered "incomplete" if you exceed the limit.
- Current curriculum vitae (NIH format – limited to 3 pages – please include publications).
- All applications and documents must be received by 5pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) on December 1, 2009.
