Membership Types: Honorary Members

Honorary Membership may be conferred upon a distinguished physician or scientist who is not a member of the College and who would not routinely be eligible for membership in the College, but whose professional performance warrants recognition by the College. An Honorary Member is not required to pay entrance fees, dues, or assessments and has the privilege of attending ACR meetings without payment of registration fees. An Honorary Member has all the rights and privileges of membership, except the right to vote, hold office, or serve on any committee of the ACR. Nominations for Honorary Membership should be made in writing to the secretary of the ACR by two voting members or by the Committee on Nominations and Appointments.
