The American College of Rheumatology is the largest professional organization of physicians, scientists and health professionals devoted to the study and treatment of the rheumatic diseases. Membership in the ACR is based on licensure, certification levels, and area of interest, among other requirements.
Applicants must complete an application, provide other documentation as required, and make the first dues payment to be considered for membership. Applicants are considered for election to membership four times a year at regular meetings of the ACR board of directors.
