ACR SessionSelect

SessionSelect allows you the flexibility to connect and view a library of recorded educational presentations from the ACR/ARHP Annual Scientific Meeting and other ACR live activities. Special member pricing is available to members who do not attend the annual meeting.

Rheumatology Clinical Registry

Improve the care you provide to patients with the ACR’s online clinical data management tool that will also help you comply with increased quality reporting and documentation requirements. Use of the RCR is a member benefit and there is no additional cost. The ACR will also cover the direct cost of PQRI registry reporting for users who opt to use this feature for 2009 reporting – a benefit valued at over $300 per member.

Physicians and fellows-in-training have found this course helpful in extending their learning and enhancing care for patients while providing high-quality integration into their practice. Earn up to 117.5 CME credits for track purchase or 3.0 - 9.5 per individual module purchase.

CARE: The Continuing Assessment, Review and Evaluation Program

Test your knowledge online with the Continuing Assessment, Review and Evaluation Program. Over 200 case-based questions are available through CARE 2007, 2008, and 2009. No questions are repeated and all CARE programs include images and over 100 educational links from a variety of sources including Arthritis & Rheumatism, UpToDate, and the New England Journal of Medicine. The CARE program offers points in the self-evaluation of medical knowledge in the ABIM Maintenance of Certification Program. ACR members will save $80 on CARE 2009. Fellows-in-training and program directors are offered discounted rates, and will save $40 over non-member rates for the 2009 course. Members attending the Rheumatology Maintenance of Certification Course will receive complimentary access to CARE 2009 for one year.

AIM Practice Improvement Modules

Analyze your practice patterns, identify practice strengths and areas for improvement, and develop and implement an improvement plan – all without leaving your office. AIM: RA and AIM: Gout are available and approved for ABIM Maintenance of Certification points. AIM is free for ACR members – a savings of $195 per course.

Certified Rheumatology Coding Course & Exam

The demand for individuals with a solid background in medical coding is increasing as physician practices and hospitals continue to require accurate coding for appropriate reimbursement and to reduce audit risk. To help address this need, the ACR in collaboration with the American Academy of Professional Coders has developed a rheumatology coding specialty credential. The credentialing program is designed to enhance professional growth and efficiency in coding and billing for physicians and their staff. ACR and ARHP members will save $100 on course fees.

UpToDate is an evidence-based, peer-reviewed information resource, available via the Web, desktop computer, and PDA. With UpToDate, you can: answer questions quickly, increase your clinical knowledge, improve patient care, earn CME credit each time you research a question using your individual subscription, and use the patient information section to educate your patients.
