2011 ACR/ARHP Annual Scientific Meeting

The ACR/ARHP Annual Scientific Meeting is the premier event for specialists in the field of rheumatology, and the ACR continues to enhance the meeting to bring the best science to attendees. The 2011 annual meeting will be held Nov. 4-9, 2011 in Chicago, Ill.

ACR members saved $190 on early registration, $255 on advance registration and $295 on on-site registration as compared to non-members. ACR FIT members saved $95 on early registration, $130 on advance registration and $150 on on-site registration as compared to non-members. Masters and Emeritus members registered at discounted fees. To take advantage of the greatest savings, be sure to apply for membership early.

2011 Winter Rheumatology Symposium

The ACR's Winter Rheumatology Symposium is held annually in Snowmass, Colo. This six-day symposium offers a review of the latest clinical and scientific information taught by key thought leaders in the field of rheumatology. Sessions are held in the morning and late afternoon to allow you time to take advantage of the recreational and cultural amenities the area has to offer.

In 2011, ACR members saved $315 on early registration and $340 on regular registration. ACR FIT members saved $160 on early registration and $165 on regular registration. Masters and Emeritus members registered at discounted fees.

2011 Rheumatology Maintenance of Certification Course

This interactive review course is designed to assist rheumatologists preparing for the ABIM Maintenance of Certification Rheumatology Exam, fellows-in-training preparing for the certification exam, and any physician looking for an in-depth review of the diagnosis, management, and treatment of rheumatic diseases. All attendees will receive complimentary access to the most recently released CARE module as the content for this course is specifically based on that module. After the course, attendees submit their answers in the CARE module and physicians enrolled in the ABIM Maintenance of Certification program can receive 30 points in medical knowledge.

2011 State-of-the-Art Clinical Symposium

Often called the "mini annual meeting," the State-of-the-Art Clinical Symposium provides clinicians the opportunity to listen and interact with key opinion leaders in an intimate setting, without interfering with patient schedules. A variety of lunchtime workshops are also available including the popular Encore Theater. To maximize your learning experience, a pre-conference course called Integrating Immunology and Biologics into Clinical Practice is offered in 2011.

Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Course for Rheumatologists

In 2011, the Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Course for Rheumatologists is offered twice, once concurrent to the State-of-the-Art Clinical Symposium and again as a pre-conference course to the 2011 annual meeting. This two-day intensive course is designed to meet the specific educational needs of beginner to low intermediate rheumatologists who want to learn ultrasound technology. Under the guidance of experts from around the world, attendees perform hands-on scanning of live models to enhance technical proficiency for the diagnosis of normal and abnormal clinical conditions.

2011 Pediatric Rheumatology Symposium (PRSYM)

PRSYM is the premier event dedicated to rheumatologists and advanced practice professionals caring for the pediatric population. Previously held in Keystone, Colorado, PRSYM heads to the warmth of Miami bringing the same quality content that has been offered in the past. In 2011, the program allows for a greater number of plenary sessions, ample opportunities for abstract presentations as well as additional time for poster sessions. Symposium attendees take advantage of this global gathering for interaction between presenters, speakers, colleagues and friends.
