Subcommittee role and responsibilities
The Fellows Subcommittee members have several ongoing projects to oversee and each serves as an invited guest on an ACR Standing Committee. In this role, fellows are asked to participate in face-to-face meetings, conference calls and provide input where needed. Many of the subcommittee's meetings are held by conference call; however, some meetings do require some travel. Successful candidates are expected to attend the ACR Annual Meeting, State-of-the-Art Meeting and face-to-face meetings of the ACR Standing Committee to which they are assigned (typically 2 per year). You will be required to fulfill a two year term, with terms beginning and ending at the ACR Annual Meeting (e.g. terms beginning November 2012 at the annual meeting will end November 2014 at the annual meeting). The ACR does provide financial support to attend the necessary face-to-face meetings but it is important that fellows nominated have the protected time to fully participate.
