ACR High Impact Rheumatology Objectives

Educational Objectives

The overall goals of the High Impact Rheumatology™ program are to increase knowledge of treatment for musculoskeletal diseases, and to hone the skills of primary care physicians in managing these diseases.

Participation in this activity will result in:

  • Higher levels of confidence in diagnosing, managing, and communicating with patients suffering with arthritis and other musculoskeletal diseases
  • Greater understanding of pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic treatment modalities for arthritis and musculoskeletal problems
  • Being able to recognize the differences between Rheumatoid Arthritis and Osteoarthritis that will enable you to efficiently diagnose and treat these diseases
  • Improved diagnostic skill level for regional pain problems and arthritis
