
Attendees who pre-registered on or before Friday, October 21 will receive a confirmation containing a barcode typically within 48 hours of receipt of payment. If you do not receive your confirmation within five business days, please call (800) 990-2446 or (415) 979-2286. The barcode is your official documentation and must be presented onsite to collect your badge, materials and tickets. You will also be sent a reminder confirmation approximately two weeks before the meeting. Registered attendees are required to pick-up their registration materials in person, unless registered as part of an official group through ACR group registration. Pick-up of meeting materials by a third party is not permitted.
Refunds and Cancellations
Cancellations must be received in writing and received by Tuesday, October 11, 2011. No refunds will be issued after this date. Member refunds will be assessed a $50 processing fee; non-member refunds will be assessed a $100 processing fee. No fee will be assessed for guest cancellations.

Refunds will not be issued on site. Cancelled registrations are non-transferable. All tickets purchased for the Opening Event at the Field Museum of Natural History are non-refundable.
Meet the Professor and Workshop Sessions
You must register for the Annual Scientific Meeting in order to purchase a ticket for these sessions. Only credit card payments are accepted for these sessions. We understand that you may select a session and later determine it conflicts with your favorite abstract session, so you may exchange your registration up to 24 hours prior to the session. You may also cancel your Meet the Professor or Workshop registration and receive a full refund if your request is received by Tuesday, October 11, 2011.
Guided Poster Tours
Registration for poster tours will open in September. Although the tours are complimentary, registration is required. You will receive a ticket with your meeting materials. Once you pick-up your ticket all you will need to do is check-in at the poster tour desk 15 minutes prior to the start of your tour to receive your headset. Please note that your reservation will be held only until 5 minutes prior to the start of the tour. After this time, your reservation will be released to standby attendees.
