ARHP News and Information
ARHP Member-get-a-Member Campaign
Who is in the lead?
As of May 7, 2008 – an ARHP member in Huntington, NY and an ACR member in Mississauga, Ontario Canada are STILL in the lead!
We have a total of 26 sponsors that recruited 38 new ARHP members, great job!
Remember, the $500 airline flight certificate will be given to the top two members (ACR & ARHP) that sponsor the most new ARHP members between February 1 - August 25, 2008. They will be recognized at the Networking Forum during the 2008 Annual Scientific Meeting in San Francisco, CA for their contribution to the ARHP. You can be that member, all you have to do is click, print and pass along a membership application to your colleagues, we’ve even provided you with a recruitment kit that includes a list of ARHP membership benefits.
ARHP Graduate Student Award
Do you know a student that has shown an interest in planning a research or clinical project with relevance to the field of rheumatology? If so, this is the path to take because it encourages members to mentor a graduate student in health-related areas by helping them to submit an application.
We are accepting proposals for 2008. In order to be considered, submit by June 2 and decisions will be announced by the end of July. The two top-rated proposals based on scientific merit, rigor, and potential significance to the field will be eligible for:
- $500.00 award in the form of a check
- Free registration to the 2008 Annual Scientific Meeting in San Francisco
- Free membership in the ARHP for the year of the award, or if you are already a member we will extend the expiration date one year.
Additional guidelines and the application are now available.
