The ACR is pleased to announce the Fellows-in-Training (FIT) Travel Scholarship designed to expose Fellows-in-Training to the ACR 2009 Annual Scientific Meeting. This program supplements the advanced training rheumatology fellows receive at their training programs and includes an education symposium specifically designed for the fellows on Friday afternoon, as well as an evening reception/dinner program that evening.

Travel scholarship

The FIT Travel Scholarship includes:

  • Complimentary meeting registration fees for the Scientific Sessions

  • Complimentary registration to either the Review Course, Basic Research Conference or the Clinical Research Conference

  • Complimentary registration to one Meet the Professor or Workshop session, on a limited first-come, first-serve basis

  • 5-nights hotel room and tax charges only

  • Roundtrip economy/coach airfare to Philadelphia from the fellow’s home city

  • A ground transportation stipend

Eligibility

Fellows interested in this opportunity must be a first- or second-year adult or first-, second- or third-year pediatric fellow in a rheumatology training program approved by the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
