House Committee Requests ACR Input on SGR Reform

David Borenstein MD, ACR President, received a letter from the House Energy & Commerce Committee bi-partisan leadership requesting feedback on improving the Medicare physician payment system. Fifty-one national medical and health care associations including the ACR received this letter which specifically requests input on alternatives to the current Medicare physician payment system.
The ACR would appreciate feedback from our membership on how to improve the payment system. Comments from membership should be submitted to Aiken Hackett at ahackett@rheumatology.org by Wednesday, April 27.
