Medicare reimbursements will be cut—a whopping 23%— on December 1 unless Congress takes immediate action November 15-19 to fix the SGR. This is the #1 priority for physicians and Medicare patients and we must all work together to ensure the cut is averted.
The ACR is organizing "I Need My Rheumatologist!" Call-In Day Wednesday, November 10 to mobilize rheumatology patients, health professionals and doctors. The rheumatology community, including eight patient organizations , are joining forces to flood Capitol Hill with phone calls urging Congress to "Fix the SGR before November 30". A retroactive fix is not an option.
Please join your patients on November 10 and tell Congress "Neither doctors—nor patients —can afford a 23% cut. Fix the SGR before November 30!".
