House Committee Holds Hearing On The Arthritis Prevention Control and Cure Act
September 15, 2010
Thanks to the years of hard work and dedication of our ACR advocates, especially in the 111th Congress, the House Energy & Commerce Committee Health Subcommittee will consider the Arthritis Prevention Control and Cure Act (H.R.1210/S.984) in a scheduled hearing today, September 15.
We appreciate your activism to encourage your members of Congress to support this legislation. This is a crucial first step, but is one of many we will endure to ensure that the APCCA becomes law in the 111th Congress. After the hearing, a Committee vote is expected. We will need your active engagement in our grassroots advocacy efforts over the next few weeks.
Advocates for Arthritis is scheduled for September 20–21. This is a perfect time for the ACR to be on Capitol Hill to personally push—in person—for action on this important legislation. Join us in our efforts!
