Arthritis & Rheumatology Editor-in-Chief (2025–2030 Term)

The American College of Rheumatology Committee on Journal Publications announces the search for the position of Editor, Arthritis & Rheumatology. The official term of the next Arthritis & Rheumatology editorship is July 1, 2025–July 1, 2030; however, some of the duties of the new Editor will begin during a transition period starting April 1, 2025.

ACR members who are considering applying should submit a nonbinding letter of intent by May 15, 2024 to the Senior Publishing Director, Kimberly Murphy at kmurphy@rheumatology.org and are also encouraged to contact the current Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Daniel Solomon, to discuss details; initial contact should be made via email to dsolomon@bwh.harvard.edu. Applications are due August 1, 2024 and will be reviewed in August and September 2024.

Arthritis & Rheumatology (A&R), an official journal of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR), is a peer-reviewed monthly publication for scientists and clinicians interested in the natural history, pathophysiology, treatment, and outcome of rheumatic diseases.

A&R publishes the highest quality basic and clinical research related to the rheumatic diseases, encompassing a wide range of areas of investigative activity. In addition, the journal publishes review articles, editorials, and other educational material intended for both researchers and clinicians. Serving the worldwide community of rheumatology investigators and clinicians, A&R is known internationally as a top rheumatology research journal.
