Registration Guidelines

  • Full payment is due at the time of registration.
  • Online registrations receive immediate email confirmation.
  • Faxed and mailed registrations will be sent a confirmation within five days of receipt.
  • If you do not receive a confirmation call 800-636-4766 (US & Canada) or 415-979-2265 (International)
  • If you are registering on someone’s behalf, you are required to enter the contact information for the individual attendee. Without this information, the registration will not be processed.

Cancellations and Requests for Refund

  • Cancellations and refund requests must be received in writing by January 6. Submit cancellation requests via the ACR WRS Registration Support Center by fax at 415-293-5231.
  • No refunds will be provided for cancellations received after the cancellation deadline of January 6.
  • An administration fee of $50 will be deducted for members; $100 will be deducted for non-members. No fees will be refunded after January 6.
  • No-shows will not receive a refund.
  • ACR is not responsible for airfare, hotel or other costs incurred by participants in the event of a program or registration cancellation.
  • All refund requests will be processed after the meeting. No refunds will be issued on-site.
  • Cancelled registrations are nontransferable.


The symposium will be held at the Viceroy Snowmass hotel. Ground Transportation - Free Skier Shuttle Service
Free shuttle buses run 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM between the four ski areas - Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk Mountain and Snowmass. Shuttles run continuously during peak morning and afternoon hours. Evening buses within Aspen are free while Snowmass riders are charged a nominal fee. For more information, please call 970-925-8484.

Snowmass Sports is located adjacent to Starbucks in the Snowmass Village mall. They are a full service ski shop consisting of rental, repair and accessories. Complimentary overnight ski storage is available. Winter Rheumatology Symposium attendees will receive 30% discount on rental rates.

Press Registration & Policies

The American College of Rheumatology welcomes members of the press to write about research presented at our professional meetings, such as the Winter Rheumatology Symposium (WRS), throughout the year. Complimentary registration is provided to approved members of the press to allow them to attend sessions on-site. All members of the press interested in attending WRS must register by (date to be announced). On-site registration will NOT be available. Registration details are coming soon.
