Benefits of Connecting with RISE

The RISE registry dashboard is available online and is easy to use for performance tracking. Quality performance for value-based care will be more imperative as the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and private payors continue to move toward value-based care reimbursement. The RISE registry offers you the opportunity to exceed reporting requirements, increase the value of your patient care, and strategically improve outcomes.

A core feature of RISE is that it automatically collects information from integrated electronic health records (EHR) systems. Once users and RISE staff work together to ensure data flows properly, RISE handles all ongoing maintenance with feedback from the practices. Also, RISE can collect and analyze both structured and unstructured data, so you don’t necessarily need to change your workflow or the ways you are documenting your data to see your quality performance. The dashboard is online, making it available year-round.

The RISE registry offers the option for RISE practices to report for the Quality Payment Program (QPP), as required by CMS, via Traditional MIPS and/or the Advancing Rheumatology Patient Care MIPS Value Pathway (MVP). The RISE team is dedicated to helping you have a seamless, successful reporting experience through the RISE registry. To that end, the RISE team offers personalized, expert support and guidance through QPP program requirements.

Because RISE is a designated Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR) per the CMS, you can submit RISE’s QCDR measures to the CMS via the MIPS pathway. Participating providers can monitor and track their performances on ACR-created rheumatology-specific QCDR measures and QPP MIPS eCQM/CQM measures. RISE’s QCDR measures are tailored for rheumatology, giving users a targeted understanding of the value of their patient care. Providers can only access and track their performance on the RISE Dashboard.

RISE is free for all ACR and ARP members. Because RISE personalizes our approach for each practice’s EHR system and workflow, providers are not required to pay for and develop custom interfaces. However, some EHRs charge the practice a fee to integrate or share patient data with the RISE team; contact your EHR primary contact(s) to learn more.

The RISE registry team is here to give users a positive experience as they watch their care improve. With eight full-time positions, your questions and comments are heard and answered quickly. RISE users also receive regular communication from staff on updates with MIPS, upcoming deadlines, and innovative project opportunities.

The RISE Hub is a benefit for RISE registry participants. It contains the information you need to be a successful RISE user. Users should bookmark this page to keep up to date on RISE news, new quality measures, how to earn maintenance of certification and continuing medical education points, and more.
