About the Program

This annual scholarship program has been established to honor the ACR member, colleague, friend and leader in rheumatology Philip C. Robinson, MB ChB, PhD, FRACP.

The Phil Robinson Global Scholars Program aims to foster collaboration, facilitate mentoring, and promote interactions between early-career rheumatologists, rheumatology health professionals and patient advocates around the world and recognize and develop future leaders within global rheumatology.

The program supports junior academic rheumatologists, rheumatology health professionals and patient advocates to travel to the US to experience the ACR Convergence, participate in a “Know Before You Go” virtual orientation, engage in a bespoke mentoring exercise with established rheumatology mentors and attend a Global Rheumatology Networking event with international colleagues.

Funding for this program is made possible by contributions from the American College of Rheumatology and COVID-19 Global Rheumatology Alliance.
